Funfetti Whoopie Pies

Easy funfetti whoopie pies are simple to make, delicious, and so fun for a party.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 15.25 ounce box Funfetti cake mix plus ingredients included in directions
  • 1 16 ounce tub vanilla frosting
  • rainbow sprinkles

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Prepare a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • Prepare the Funfetti cake mix according to the instructions on the box. Ours included eggs, water, and oil. 
  • Once the batter is ready, place it in a piping bag—pipe 1 ¾ - 2-inch discs of the Funfetti batter onto the prepared baking sheet. Be sure to leave about 1 inch between each disc. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from the oven as soon as they start to turn brown around the edges. Do not overbake. 
  • Remove from the oven and place on a cooling rack. Repeat until all of the funfetti batter is gone. 
  • Once the Funfetti discs are completely cooled, fill a piping bag with white frosting. Reserve ½ of the cake discs and set them aside. Flip the other half of the Funfetti discs upside down—pipe white frosting onto each disc. Grab the reserved Funfetti discs and place them on top of the frosting. 
  • Your Funfetti Whoopie Pies are ready to eat! Serve and ENJOY!
