Strawberry Rice Krispie Treats

These strawberry rice krispie treats are soft, chewy, and full of strawberry flavor. An easy, pink, no bake dessert perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 10 ounce mini marshmallows
  • ½ teapoon vanilla
  • 3 ounce strawberry gelatin mix (I use strawberry JELL-O.)
  • 6 cups Rice Krispie cereal

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter in a large pot over low heat.
  • Stir in the mini marshmallows in with the melted butter. (You can reserve a quarter cup of mini marshmallows to stir in later if you like.) Keep stirring until the marshmallows melt.
  • Stir in the vanilla and strawberry JELL-O mix until combined.
  • Remove the pot from the heat. Mix in the cereal. Stir until combined.
  • Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with non stick cooking spray. Spread the marshmallow treat mixture in the baking dish. Use a spatula or piece of parchment paper sprayed with non stick cooking spray to help you press the treats into the pan.
  • Let the strawberry rice krispie treats rest for about 30 minutes before cutting.
