- 12 pretzel rods
- 12 Fudge Stripe Cookies
- 8 ounces chocolate almond bark
- 1 bag candy corn candy
- orange Reeces Pieces candy
- 24 edible candy eyes
- ¼ cup red candy melts
Lay out a piece of parchment paper or wax paper.
Take 12 fudge stripe cookies and place them striped side down and at least 2 inches apart on the prepared surface.
Add 8 ounces of chocolate almond bark into a microwave-safe bowl. Heat for 1 minute, stir, and then continue heating in 15-second increments until melted. Place a piping bag into a tall glass. Pour the melted chocolate into the piping bag.
Dip a pretzel rod into the piping bag full of chocolate, and allow the excess to drip off. Place the dipped pretzel rod onto a fudge stripe cookie. Repeat with the remaining pretzels.
Take the piping bag filled with the remaining melted chocolate and cut a small hole in the tip. Use the chocolate as glue to place your candy corn in a half-moon pattern on the fudge stripe cookie to create the effect of the turkey’s feathers.
Carefully cut the orange Reese’s Pieces candy in half. Place the candy eyes and half of an orange Reese’s Pieces vertically for the nose using the chocolate as glue.
For the last step, melt ¼ cup of red candy melts according to the package. Place the melted candy into another piping bag. Cut a small hole for the tip and pipe the turkey’s wattle.
Let the turkey pretzels dry for at least 30 minutes. You can also place them in the fridge for quicker drying time.
