    Sheet Pan Halloween Cookie Bars

    During the Halloween season, I'm always looking for fun and easy treats to share, and these sheet pan Halloween cookie bars always hit the spot. They are soft, chewy, and filled with festive Halloween sprinkles and candy.

    If you like chocolate chip cookies, you will love these Halloween cookie bars. It's a great way to use those leftover Halloween sprinkles and candy.

    I have even used this recipe to make a Halloween cookie cake. Simple bake the bars and top with your favorite frosting.

    • Unsalted butter, softened
    • Sugar

    How to make Halloween cookie bars

    Step one: Cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar with a mixer.

    Step two: Mix in eggs and vanilla extract. Mix in the flour, baking soda and salt until fully combined.

    Step three: Stir in chocolate chips, M&M's, and sprinkles.

    Step four: Spread the dough in a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cookie bars are cooked through.

    Step five: Let the cookie bars cool before cutting.

    Recipe tips and variations

    • Butter: Make sure to soften the butter before mixing.
    • Sprinkles: Feel free to use your favorite sprinkles. I am using Halloween jimmys and candy eyes.
    • Candy: I am using Halloween M&M's but you can substitute with different chopped chocolate Halloween candy.

    Ingredients
      

    • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
    • ¾ cup sugar
    • 1 cup brown sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • 1 cup chocolate chips
    • 1 cup Halloween M&M's
    • ¼ cup Halloween sprinkles

    Instructions
     

    • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9x13 baking sheet with parchment paper. Spray with non-stick cooking spray.
    • Place softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar in a bowl. Mix until creamy.
    • Mix in eggs and vanilla extract.

    • Stir in the chocolate chips, M&M's, and sprinkles.
    • Spread the mixture in the lined baking pan.
