    Simple Halloween treat

I love this time of year when the air is crisp, the pumpkins are out, and all of the fun holiday treats.

Chocolate haystacks have been around for as long as I can remember. I make them all year long because they are so fast and simple. In this recipe I am customizing them with festive Halloween sprinkles.

Store these in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator. They will last up to 2 weeks.

    Haystacks variations

    • Chocolate - You can use all chocolate chips or all butterscotch chips if you prefer. You can even substitute with white chocolate chips.

    • Marshmallows - Try adding in some mini marshmallows for extra texture and taste.
