- Sixlet candies - White Sixlet candy to look like a pearl.
How to make this clam shell cookies recipe
Step one: To make this simple recipe begin by lining a cookie sheet or tray with parchment paper. Place 24 vanilla wafers on the parchment.
Step two: Place the aqua blue frosting into a piping bag with a #1M star tip. Pipe aqua blue frosting onto the first 8 wafers. Repeat with the pink and purple colors until all the wafers have frosting.
Step three: Next, take a white Sixlet and place it gently onto the front of the frosting. This will be our pearl.
Step four: Place the remaining 24 vanilla wafers carefully on top of the frosted wafers to create the clamshell.
