How to make easy funfetti whoopie pies
Step one: Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Prepare the Funfetti cake mix according to the instructions on the box. Ours included eggs, water, and oil.
Step two: Once the batter is ready, scoop batter in a piping bag—pipe 1 ¾ - 2-inch discs of the Funfetti batter onto the prepared baking sheet. Be sure to leave about 1 inch between each disc. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from the oven as soon as they start to turn brown around the edges. Do not overbake. Place on a wire rack to cool.
Step three: Once the Funfetti discs are completely cooled, fill a piping bag with white frosting. Reserve ½ of the cake discs and set them aside. Flip the other half of the Funfetti discs upside down—pipe white frosting onto the flat side of each disc. Grab the reserved Funfetti discs and place them on top of the frosting.
Step four: Enjoy!
