How to make Peeps popcorn balls recipe
Step one: Pop your microwave kettle corn according to the instructions, or use your favorite kettle corn recipe. (You can remove the black eyes from the Peeps and also remove any unpopped kernels.)
Step two: Next, add 1 tablespoon of butter and 3 ounces of one color of Peeps to a microwave safe mixing bowl —microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir. If not fully melted, microwave for additional 30-second increments until melted. Stir until the butter and peeps are blended and evenly colored. Then add 3 cups of popped kettle corn into the melted Peeps and fold the popcorn until coated. Set aside. Repeat this process for all 4 colors of peeps. (Make sure to work fast so the popcorn doesn't harden.)
Step three: Next, pull off chunks of popcorn mixture from each of the bowls of colored popcorn and press all of the different colors together. Using your hands, roll them into 9 - 12 multi-colored baseball-size balls.
Step four: Enjoy!
